Submit a pull request please with the change below. Seems to be a reasonable enhancement.

I know (after reading code) we can use 'select' without and argument to
go back to default module but having an exit will make things more

I’ve had success debugging Zephyr on FRDM-K64F with Kinetis Design Studio (KDS). It’s not vanilla Eclipse, but it is Eclipse-based. You can set up an OpenOCD debug configuration. I’ve been meaning to try this with the next generation IDE, called MCUXpresso IDE, but haven’t gotten to it yet.

I’ve not tried building Zephyr in Eclipse.

Hi Kevin,
Check out the web ide demo video (and companion doc) found here: https://www.zephyrproject.org/resources/videos

I suspect either the tip about Modem manager or setting up device rules may be the culprit for your problem.

The upstream Eclipse + CDT can do most of this but needs patient configuring. To be honest I haven't used eclipse in ages but here are some rough ideas:

1. You will need to either source zephyr-env.sh and then launch eclipse
from that shell or you will have to study zephyr-env.sh and set the
environment variables yourself inside eclipse.

2. For the indexing and refactoring tools to work you set things up as a
Makefile project and force V=1 onto the make command line. Once you
have done this CDT will be able to deduce the include paths and macro
definitions it need in order to scan the source code properly.

3. You should be able to setup make targets for things like "flash" but
I don't think this will work as nicely for "debugserver". Instead
you may have to just create a raw launcher configuration to
start/stop openocd from within the GUI.

4. There are lots of tutorials on setting up cross-gdb from eclipse...

Daniel.

Actually, the only thing we should need is requirements.txt file for pip
and docs/README.rst updated to describe that building docs should
happen in virtualenv after "pip install -r requirements.txt".

I'm getting a strange build error when I try to build documentation in the Zephyr master branch. Has anyone ever seen this before? This is an up-to-date Fedora 25 machine.

I see it too

Please file a bug and assign to David Kinder -- he can do more research on it.

In Zephyr 1.7 , the implementation for deep sleep for quark_se is done

We have finalized our application based on zephyr 1.6. In this version deep sleep implementation for quark_se is NOT available

Is there any patch I can apply on zephyr 1.6, to get the deep sleep support for quark_se ??

Thanks
