That would seem to be just a warning.
(At least another developer has also reported it, and I think he was also using Arch Linux)
As far as a I understand it is harmless.

I can't reproduce this exact issue, but I can confirm that with
ZEPHYR_TOOLCHAIN_VARIANT=zephyr and ZEPHYR_TOOLCHAIN_VARIANT=host, I get
a build error following along with the getting started

It looks like you may have forgotten to #include <nxp/nxp_rt.dtsi> in your board dts file.

Can you please make sure there is not a stale `build/` folder in your zephyrproject/zephyr folder?
Also, can you make sure you are using west 0.6.0 or higher? Type west –version
