QMSI bootloader 1.2 and beyond does not start the sensor subsystem at all. It's all up to the applications now. So for versions 1.2 and later the x86 binary is required. Regards, Malcolm

This is not Zephyr related, it all depends on the bootloader you are using. QMSI 1.1 had a bootloader that booted the sensor subsystem directly, not sure if this is still the case in recent releases
