canopennode v2.0 driver contribution

Hi,
I've been working on updating the canopennode-driver to v2.0, and work
is almost complete now. I've read through the developer guidlines, as
well as the open issues and pull requests, and I haven't found any
issues asking for, or PRs offering this specific update.
As I haven't contributed anything to this project before, I'm not
quite sure on how to proceed. Do I just open a pull request, or do I
have to open an issue first?

Hi Alex,
You may want to have a peek at https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/contribute/guidelines.html#pull-requests-and-issues if you haven't already.
It'd be great to start with an issue to track the work that needs to be done, and indicate that you are willing to work towards a PR (yay!). You can then reference the issue # in your upcoming PR.
